Robert Lee Sandlin

Robert L. Sandlin Moore, SC- Robert Lee “Bob” “Rambo” “Big D”, 56, died Saturday, April 30, 2022. Born March 27, 1966, in Sutton, West Virginia, Bob was a son of the late Guy Sandlin and Mabel Juanita Bailey. He loved riding motorcycles with his longtime friends and fellow veterans, working on cars, and being a rebel. Bob was a Huey transmission mechanic for the USMC and was a SGT during his military service. He was a loving father and grandfather. Bob is survived by his sons, Jason, Jeremy (Ashley), and Cody (Jessi); five grandchildren, Ava, Colby, Emmett, JJ, and Violet; the mother of his children, Trish Goodrich; six siblings, Shirley Sigmon (Charles), Margie Street, Karen Hardy (Tom), Gary Burrough (Margaret), Sharon Forgach, and Jerry Bailey; his aunt, Nancy Weaver; and cousins, Chris, Ray, and Kevin Collins. A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 7th, 3:00 PM at Dunbar Funeral Home. The family will receive friends following the service.
