Helen Grace Spearman Stamey

Spartanburg, SC- Helen G. Stamey, 82, wife of the late Bobby Lee Stamey, died Saturday, January 24, 2015. Born July 3, 1932 in Spartanburg, SC, Helen was a daughter of the late James B. and Myrtle Pye Spearman. She is survived by two sons, James and Billy Dean Stamey; a daughter, Patti Yates; a brother, Bobby Spearman; a sister, Evelyn Padgett; three grandchildren, Jamie and Holly Stamey, and Deon Yates; and nine great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a son, Bobby Jean Stamey; and a brother, JB Spearman. A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 31st, 10:00am at Windsor House West, 850 John B. White Blvd, Spartanburg, SC 29306.
