Gareth "Del" Scott

Gareth “Del” Scott, Jr. Moore – Gareth Delwyn Scott, Jr., 51, husband of Jennifer L. Tubb-Scott, died October 28, 2014. Del was born on August 7, 1963 to Reverend Dr. Gareth Delwyn Scott, Sr. and Fredna Jones Scott. He was a graduate of Dorman High School, class of 1982, a graduate of Spartanburg Methodist College and USC Spartanburg. Del honorably served in the Army National Guard. He also served 28 years at Milliken & Company. Del was a member of St. James United Methodist Church. In addition to his wife and parents, Del is survived by his daughter, Cassi Marie Scott; his son, Kory Reece Scott, both of the home; a brother, Robert Quay Scott of Simpsonville; and a sister, Amy Scott Love of Powdersville. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, November 2, 2014 at St. James United Methodist Church: 213 N Lanford Rd, Spartanburg, SC 29301, officiated by Reverend Chris Barrett and Reverend Dr. Gareth Scott, Sr. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. James United Methodist Church: 213 N Lanford Rd, Spartanburg, SC 29301 The family is at the home.
