Charles Allen Lee

Spartanburg, SC- Charles A. Lee, of the Golightly community, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 26, 2014. Born April 11, 1932 in Spartanburg, Charles was a son of the late Walter A. and Louis Brown Lee. He retired after many years of service from Spartanburg Steel. Charles was a member of Golightly United Methodist Church. Charles is survived by his wife of 62 years, Shirley Ann Taylor Lee; son, David A. Lee and his wife, Erline; son, Scott Lee and his wife, Kim; and two grandsons, Travis and Garrett. He was predeceased by two brothers, Nataniel and Bobby Lee; and a sister, Etheleen West. The family is at the home. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, October 29th, 2:00PM in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Golightly Methodist Church, 2000 Highway 56, Spartanburg, SC 29302.
