Evelyn Mabry Wilkins

Spartanburg, SC- Evelyn Wilkins, 89, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, April 23, 2014.Born February 5, 1925 in Spartanburg, SC, Evelyn was a daughter of the late Robert Benjamin and Lula Bobb Mabry. She was employed with Spartan Mills for over 40 years and was a member of Duncan Memorial United Methodist Church.Evelyn is survived by her sister, Irene Mabry; and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her son, Benny J. Hadden; two brothers, Vernon and James Mabry; and four sisters, Lillian M. Bryant, Louise M. Blankenship, Ida M. Fine, and Elise M. Brooks.Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 26th, 11:00am at Dunbar Funeral Home, officiated by Reverend Kenneth Cash.Burial will follow the service at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
