R.D. Brewington

Spartanburg, SC- R. D. Brewington, 82, husband of the late Imogene Wyatt Brewington, died Thursday, February 14, 2013. R. D. was born September 2, 1930 to the late Oscar and Catherine Fowler Brewington. He was a painter by trade, and retired after 30 years of employment with the S.C. School for Deaf and Blind as a maintenance technician. R. D was a member of Philadelphia Baptist Church. He is survived by his son, Anthony “Tony” Brewington, and his wife, Allison; a daughter, Rhonda Raines and her husband, Tim; two grandchildren, Brandy Stanford, and Allison Brewington; and two great grandchildren, Gracie and Saydee Stanford. In addition to his wife, R.D. was predeceased by his sister, Irene Lemmons. The family will receive friends Saturday, February 16, 2013, 5:00-7:00pm at Dunbar Funeral Home. The graveside service will be held Sunday, February 17, 2013, 3:00pm at Philadelphia Baptist Church cemetery, officiated by Reverend Manning Strickland.
